A couple years ago I got the opportunity to start working with my local 4-H club. The club has three divisions, 14-18 is the senior division, 11-13 is the junior division and 10 and under is our beginner division also known as the “tiny tots.” I am currently working with the tiny tots. It is a fun group of children and they are so cute. For our competitions this year I wanted the kids to have something special to wear. We already have jackets with our team name and logo, but I also wanted the kids to have t-shirts and jerseys. I spent lots of time looking through clothing stores but I couldn’t find anything, and when I did the store wouldn’t have enough in stock or the jerseys wouldn’t match the sweatshirts – it was a mess. I decided to do some searching online. I preferred to find clothes that were made out of cotton and were pre-shrunk. I came across Acorn Childrens Clothing. This place was perfect. They specialize in clothes for children 10 and under. All their items are 100% cotton and preshrunk. I looked through the multiple designs they have to offer and found a design called “horse haven.” I was able to order matching t-shirts and sweatshirts for all the kids. Before our first competition I took the kids and their parents out
for pizza and gave them each their new jerseys. They all loved their
new stuff. The parents loved it too, in fact, some of them were going
to order leggings and jumpers. At the show they wore their new clothes
and it looked great and were easy to find because everyone matched.
I met some 4-H leaders of dog and cat groups so I told them about Acorn
and how they could get clothes with dogs or cats on them. They loved
