Children’s Clothing
With the Easy Care Busy Moms Appreciate
|
The best materials- cotton, and the most
careful manufacturing, make care of our kids clothing a breeze. |
BLEACHABLE
WHITES:
That’s
right! Strong durable white cotton and our individually hand silk
screened original art designs means that you can safely Bleach Wash
these clothes - and they will come out bright and colorful with no
fading or cracking of the designs. That is true of all of our solid
basic white boys and girls sweatshirts and sweatpants, long sleeve
jerseys and T- shirts, girl’s leggings and bike shorts, along
with all of our designs on white clothes for kids and babies.
NO BLEED SOLID COLORS:
Our garment dyed solid
color cotton leggings, kids sweatshirts, sweatpants and girl’s
jumpers are carefree too! The hot water dye process we use increases
color brightness and color fastness.
SHRINKAGE:
Most
items are preshrunk (please see item descriptions), and so you will
experience not more than 2% more shrinkage (about ¾”)
over many, many washings and time.
Our long sleeve jerseys are, however, not pre shrunk but are “sized
to shrink to the marked size. (1 ½” - 2” shrinkage
in sleeve and body length from what you receive).

STAINS

-
Stain
removers such as Spray & Wash can be used on nasty stains.
-
Lanolin
based hand cleaners (in supermarket) like GOOP are great on old
stains and grease. Apply a small amount and let stand for a few
hours before washing.
-
Always
pre treat nasty stains before washing, or add bleach to white
washes.
-
Once a stain is washed without treatment, the warm water will
set it. If that happens, run the garment through several bleach
washes, which should lighten or eliminate it over time. Or try
the lanolin.

"I'm
a believer. My kids won't take their Acorn clothes
off. They love them. My 4 year old lives in his
construction shirt...And I love how easy it is
to wash up. You really can bleach them! Wow. "
- Laurie V., San Antonio, Texas
“I
was very leery about using bleach on Amanda’s
ballet sweat shirt, but I tried it after she came
home from class with hot chocolate and dirt all
over the shirt. Wow- It all came out. It’s
almost a year now, she wears it to class twice
a week and I bleach wash it so often. The shirt
and the design look as great and bright as the
day I bought it. Thanks. Beth L. Chicago, Ill. |
